[00:00:00] Hey there and welcome to Heal with Grace.
[00:00:03] I'm your host, Grace Secker, and I'm a holistic licensed therapist and nervous system coach
[00:00:08] who believes that the chronic and often unseen symptoms you're living with are a sign of
[00:00:12] something deeper going on.
[00:00:14] A sign that your nervous system needs attention.
[00:00:17] In each episode, I'll share the science behind the most common chronic health disorders
[00:00:21] plus holistic health tips using mental, physical, and spiritual practices.
[00:00:26] You'll hear what I've learned in my journey and the true stories from our
[00:00:29] trusted guests, so you can feel less alone in your experience and give yourself grace
[00:00:34] no matter what you're going through.
[00:00:36] So without further ado, settle in and get cozy.
[00:00:38] It's time to Heal with Grace.
[00:00:41] Hello, hello, and welcome back to the Heal with Grace podcast.
[00:00:45] So today I'm going to be doing another Q&A episode where I answer the questions that
[00:00:49] you all have submitted based on, you know, what you want to understand and learn
[00:00:54] from understanding your mind and body, mental health, emotional health, spiritual health.
[00:00:58] So the way that I do this is that I'm going to go ahead and just answer or I'm going to
[00:01:03] read the question and then I'm going to answer it like you're sitting right in front of me.
[00:01:07] Like we're in a private session together.
[00:01:09] Although I can't necessarily get your feedback.
[00:01:10] I will probably share how I would want to get your feedback or what I want to know
[00:01:14] more of.
[00:01:15] You'll notice that I ask a lot of questions.
[00:01:18] I want to know more to get a little more detailed to get to know you better, right?
[00:01:22] That's how I can give you the best support and advice and guidance.
[00:01:25] So I'm going to do a little bit of that.
[00:01:28] So I'm really excited for today's episode because I know that these types of questions
[00:01:32] not only help you, but everyone else as well.
[00:01:36] I started these episodes because I was listening to, to be honest, I forgot what
[00:01:41] the podcast is, but they were doing one of these Q&As and it's so helpful, right?
[00:01:46] Because there are things that I didn't even realize I needed to hear.
[00:01:48] I didn't even think about that question.
[00:01:50] I had no idea I needed that, but I found myself listening to more and more of those
[00:01:54] episodes and I was like, this is a great thing to do.
[00:01:57] So let's go ahead and jump right in.
[00:02:00] Our first question is how can I differentiate between my emotions and
[00:02:07] thoughts while trying to retrain my brain?
[00:02:10] More specifically, how do I feel my emotions but change my thoughts?
[00:02:15] OK, so let's first talk about the difference between thoughts and emotions.
[00:02:21] So a thought is something that usually comes from your brain or we
[00:02:26] initially perceive it coming from our brain.
[00:02:28] So when we have emotions, they live within our bodies.
[00:02:33] They are more feeling oriented.
[00:02:35] Sometimes we have emotions that come from thoughts and vice versa.
[00:02:39] We have emotions that actually happen in our bodies before we understand
[00:02:42] that and then a thought comes from that and we think the thought
[00:02:45] is truth because of it.
[00:02:46] So let me break it down.
[00:02:47] Let me explain that a little bit more first and foremost.
[00:02:50] They're asking about specifically retraining your brain.
[00:02:53] So when we retrain our brain a lot, we're focusing a lot more on thoughts mindset.
[00:02:58] So we're retraining the brain to stop the anxiety pain or anxiety symptoms cycle.
[00:03:04] Meaning when you have symptoms, when you have pain, when you have a migraine
[00:03:07] coming on, when you feel brain fog coming on, your brain goes into
[00:03:11] anxiety mode. Oh my gosh, what's going to happen?
[00:03:13] Why is this happening?
[00:03:14] It's going to take me out of my day, blah, blah, blah, blah,
[00:03:17] like all the negative and critical thoughts, the anxious thoughts.
[00:03:20] Those are the thoughts we want to help you shift and change
[00:03:23] when we're brain training because we want to help your brain stop those,
[00:03:28] feel a little bit more safe so that it's not sending dangerous signals
[00:03:31] to the rest of your body, increasing inflammation, increasing pain,
[00:03:34] increasing symptoms.
[00:03:36] So if you understand that, the thing I would tell you first
[00:03:41] when it comes to thoughts is to recognize when you're in that thought loop,
[00:03:46] the negative thought anxiety loop.
[00:03:49] Start to understand that first.
[00:03:50] Even if you're also having feelings, say you're noticing both,
[00:03:53] like I'm having thoughts and feelings, what do I do?
[00:03:55] If you're focusing on brain training and establishing that safety
[00:03:58] in the beginning of your journey, I would highly suggest first tuning
[00:04:01] into the thoughts. What are they saying?
[00:04:03] What are you telling yourself?
[00:04:05] If they're coming from an anxious place, those thoughts are not truth.
[00:04:09] So we want to stop them.
[00:04:10] And what you do instead is you remind your brain, you know what?
[00:04:14] I don't need you to do this right now.
[00:04:15] I'm actually totally okay.
[00:04:17] I'm totally safe.
[00:04:18] I can handle what's coming up.
[00:04:19] If you're feeling both thought and emotion,
[00:04:21] you're going to tell your brain and your body,
[00:04:22] I can handle the emotion.
[00:04:24] I really can.
[00:04:25] I don't need you to protect me.
[00:04:27] I don't need you to send me symptoms
[00:04:28] to protect me from these emotions.
[00:04:30] I can feel them in a safe way.
[00:04:32] And then you're asking, how do I feel emotions
[00:04:36] but change my thoughts?
[00:04:37] Okay.
[00:04:38] So then if you're feeling emotions
[00:04:41] and you're working on accepting them
[00:04:43] and moving through them and allowing them to be there,
[00:04:46] what you want to do with your thoughts
[00:04:48] is just keep sending those safety messages
[00:04:51] of I can feel this, I'm okay to feel this,
[00:04:53] it's safe to feel this, it's okay to feel this.
[00:04:56] And every time you're feeling something,
[00:04:59] maybe I'm feeling a lot of grief, for example.
[00:05:02] I'm feeling a lot of grief and oh my gosh,
[00:05:04] it's so painful and I don't want to feel it.
[00:05:06] And why am I feeling it like this?
[00:05:07] Why is it taking me so long to get over this person
[00:05:11] or this death or this relationship?
[00:05:13] Like why is it taking me so long?
[00:05:15] Or oh my gosh, why am I in this healing journey?
[00:05:18] It's taking me so long.
[00:05:19] Like why am I still here?
[00:05:20] I'm so over it and you're feeling the dread
[00:05:23] and the grief and the overwhelm.
[00:05:24] We want to separate those.
[00:05:26] First and foremost, remember to recognize
[00:05:28] those thoughts are not truth
[00:05:29] and try to remember that, okay, I can feel this,
[00:05:32] it's okay, I am making progress.
[00:05:34] And then what you do with emotion is you feel it.
[00:05:37] You feel that grief, you feel that sadness.
[00:05:40] I notice where I feel that in my body
[00:05:43] and I send breath to it and I imagine it taking up space.
[00:05:48] It's allowed to take up space because it's not dangerous
[00:05:51] even though our brain thinks it's dangerous, it's not.
[00:05:54] If you actually allow yourself to feel,
[00:05:57] it is studies have shown emotions
[00:05:59] do not last more than 90 seconds.
[00:06:01] I'm gonna say that again
[00:06:02] because I know it doesn't sound true at first.
[00:06:05] If you can fully allow the emotions to be there
[00:06:08] without any judgment, without any shame,
[00:06:11] without any criticism,
[00:06:13] without the thought that you shouldn't be feeling this,
[00:06:15] the emotion will wash over you like a wave for 90 seconds.
[00:06:20] So the reason why it takes longer or we feel like it does
[00:06:24] is because we don't actually allow ourselves to feel it.
[00:06:28] So I want you to be able to feel your emotions
[00:06:31] and allow them to be there
[00:06:33] and hold yourself in it if you need to,
[00:06:35] like hold yourself in that,
[00:06:37] let yourself know it's okay to feel, it's totally okay.
[00:06:41] All right, I hope that's helpful.
[00:06:43] We are gonna go to the next one.
[00:06:45] I've heard you talk about visualizations
[00:06:48] to prepare for an activity that typically triggers flares.
[00:06:51] Can you give an example of what this visualization looks like?
[00:06:55] For example, I have a snowboarding trip planned
[00:06:57] and I know some lower body exercises flare my symptoms.
[00:07:00] I'm hoping for the best chance at enjoying this trip.
[00:07:03] This is actually a really great exercise to do
[00:07:05] before going on any kind of engaging
[00:07:08] in something that has previously associated
[00:07:12] with pain or symptoms.
[00:07:13] So especially when we're talking about pain
[00:07:16] or flares in maybe a migraine or chronic fatigue
[00:07:20] or something like that.
[00:07:21] The thing is that previously what you thought
[00:07:24] has caused you pain or symptoms
[00:07:27] usually actually isn't the cause, it's just an association.
[00:07:30] So for example, this person,
[00:07:32] maybe you have gone snowboarding before
[00:07:35] and you typically have flares during it.
[00:07:37] Now your lower body does not need to flare
[00:07:42] your bladder symptoms.
[00:07:43] I know where you're coming from
[00:07:44] so I know you have bladder symptoms
[00:07:46] that actually doesn't make logical and contextual sense, right?
[00:07:52] Why would snowboarding flare bladder symptoms?
[00:07:54] That's not a logical place for structural symptoms to be there.
[00:07:59] So the reason why I'm telling you that
[00:08:01] is because I want you to dismiss that in your brain,
[00:08:05] recognize and know that that's not something
[00:08:09] that actually needs to be there
[00:08:10] that doesn't actually need to happen
[00:08:12] and to remind your body you're safe.
[00:08:13] So before you even go on the trip,
[00:08:15] I would first, before you even get into visualization,
[00:08:18] I would first start to really work
[00:08:19] on a lot of grounding and safety tools before the event.
[00:08:23] So grounding into the earth,
[00:08:25] doing grounding meditations, slowing down your day.
[00:08:29] Basically we're filling up your bucket of safety
[00:08:33] before you go into something
[00:08:34] that's a little more anxious or causes more anxiety.
[00:08:37] So in order to do this with visualization,
[00:08:41] I would do it like every day for a week before.
[00:08:45] What you're going to do is get yourself
[00:08:47] in a more calm and regulated state.
[00:08:49] So maybe listening to a breath practice
[00:08:51] or just doing a somatic tracking,
[00:08:53] just kind of notice what's going on in your body.
[00:08:55] Help yourself settle down.
[00:08:57] Don't do it in the middle of like a busy day
[00:08:59] but where you can find a little bit more slowing down
[00:09:03] and safety in your nervous system.
[00:09:04] And then what you're gonna do is visualize that day.
[00:09:07] So I want you to get really detailed.
[00:09:10] I want you to visualize yourself putting on your clothes,
[00:09:14] having your yummy breakfast and warm beverage,
[00:09:17] getting really excited about the day,
[00:09:19] reminding your bladder and your body
[00:09:21] that you are completely okay
[00:09:23] and you do not need these symptoms.
[00:09:25] I want you to visualize going throughout your day,
[00:09:28] having so much fun, enjoying nature,
[00:09:31] enjoying the pretty snow,
[00:09:33] enjoying the movement of the board beneath your body.
[00:09:37] Anything, I'm making these up, I'm just assuming.
[00:09:40] I'm not actually a snowboarder
[00:09:41] but I can grasp what it might bring you.
[00:09:43] So basically I want you to really get to know
[00:09:47] in your visualization what it feels like
[00:09:49] to have a joyful day snowboarding.
[00:09:50] And then if it's also important to you,
[00:09:53] it can be helpful to recognize and tell yourself,
[00:09:56] you know what, if I need to take a break
[00:09:59] or I need to go to the bathroom a little bit more,
[00:10:01] it's okay.
[00:10:03] Seriously, what's the worst that's gonna come
[00:10:04] from taking a break?
[00:10:05] You're gonna give your body what it needs?
[00:10:08] Sounds great to me.
[00:10:09] And so part of also getting ready for something
[00:10:12] that has previously caused symptoms
[00:10:14] is just acknowledging that you're a human
[00:10:17] and like you're not gonna be perfect every day.
[00:10:19] So sometimes you might take a break
[00:10:21] or sometimes you might do something
[00:10:22] that might not seem quote unquote,
[00:10:24] like the norm of the snowboarding day
[00:10:27] but that's totally okay.
[00:10:28] And through that opening,
[00:10:30] when you give yourself permission,
[00:10:32] it settles you even more.
[00:10:33] So basically the whole point of visualization
[00:10:36] is to notice in your mind's eye,
[00:10:37] notice in your brain how it feels,
[00:10:40] what you're thinking,
[00:10:41] what you're most enjoy about it,
[00:10:43] and how to feel safe in your body during it.
[00:10:46] Our brain doesn't know the difference
[00:10:48] between what we visualize and what's in reality.
[00:10:51] And it's shown time and time again,
[00:10:52] especially with studies in sports,
[00:10:54] how team members and athletes will visualize
[00:10:58] something going well,
[00:10:59] like a game going well,
[00:11:00] a performance going well over and over and over again
[00:11:03] has just a strong effect
[00:11:05] is actually practicing that skill or that sport.
[00:11:08] It's really, really powerful.
[00:11:09] So remember, basically you're building
[00:11:12] new neural pathways when you visualize,
[00:11:14] the same way you're building new neural pathways
[00:11:17] when you're increasing the times
[00:11:18] that you don't have symptoms or pain.
[00:11:20] So it's providing evidence
[00:11:21] that you don't need those symptoms or pain.
[00:11:23] Okay, hope that's helpful.
[00:11:26] The next one is,
[00:11:29] I am great at being initially motivated,
[00:11:32] but then my ADHD slash anxiety kicks in
[00:11:34] and I become forgetful and or mentally paralyzed
[00:11:37] because of my feeling of being quote unquote behind.
[00:11:41] Any recommendations for ADHD anxiety
[00:11:44] and motivation or consistency?
[00:11:46] Yeah, I love this question
[00:11:47] and I might surprise you with my answer.
[00:11:50] Because the first part,
[00:11:53] you say I'm great at being initially motivated.
[00:11:56] Okay, so you have motivation already
[00:11:59] and I'm wondering,
[00:12:00] you know, I don't know specifically,
[00:12:02] but I would ask you,
[00:12:03] are you comparing yourself to someone else
[00:12:05] in your productivity?
[00:12:07] Are you expecting yourself to be at
[00:12:10] an unrealistic level of productivity
[00:12:12] in whatever it is you're doing,
[00:12:14] your healing, your work, your personal life,
[00:12:16] like whatever it is.
[00:12:18] And maybe you're like, no,
[00:12:19] because other people do it.
[00:12:21] I would question that two reasons.
[00:12:23] One, because nope, two people are the same.
[00:12:27] Everyone has different energy.
[00:12:28] Everyone has different zones of genius.
[00:12:30] You have a different energy level and focus level
[00:12:34] and things that you're interested in focused in
[00:12:36] that differs from someone else.
[00:12:38] We're not all meant to operate the same way.
[00:12:40] So I think actually what is more so needed
[00:12:44] is how can you acknowledge your energy level,
[00:12:48] your zone of genius, when you work best,
[00:12:50] when you are on top of things
[00:12:54] and the way that feels good to you
[00:12:55] versus how someone else is doing it,
[00:12:57] or versus how you expect yourself to be doing it.
[00:13:02] And then I will also acknowledge,
[00:13:03] and I'll speak to how you actually,
[00:13:05] like find a more consistency,
[00:13:08] because that's a real thing.
[00:13:09] It is important and I'm not gonna just dismiss it
[00:13:11] and be like, oh, just flow and do whatever feels good.
[00:13:13] Like I get it.
[00:13:14] Sometimes we need a little tough love in that area.
[00:13:16] I just had to really address that first
[00:13:18] because I know all of you in this community,
[00:13:21] a lot of you come from the feeling
[00:13:23] like you have to be more productive, achieve more,
[00:13:27] do the best in your healing, be perfect.
[00:13:30] And so I really wanna address that first
[00:13:32] because I think I have a feeling
[00:13:34] just on how you phrased this question
[00:13:36] that that might be applicable to you.
[00:13:39] And then when it comes to consistency
[00:13:41] and I'm thinking you're feeling behind like in healing
[00:13:44] and learning these skills and tools
[00:13:45] and being able to work through it
[00:13:47] is that one week is not gonna look the same as the next.
[00:13:50] Yes, we can say like do these things every day
[00:13:52] and doing something every day is important
[00:13:55] because we are changing your brain.
[00:13:56] We are changing your neural pathways
[00:13:58] which basically we're creating new habits.
[00:14:00] So consistency really needs to come in.
[00:14:02] So there's two ways, a couple ways to go about this.
[00:14:05] One, just on a practical level,
[00:14:07] habit stacking is really helpful, really important.
[00:14:10] And what that means is adding on a Vegas nerve practice
[00:14:13] or somatic practice every time you wash your face
[00:14:16] or you brush your teeth, right?
[00:14:18] So when you can do that more and more
[00:14:21] then it just becomes normal.
[00:14:22] Every time that you have a meal,
[00:14:25] you're checking in with yourself and how you feel,
[00:14:27] how you think, you're tuning into you
[00:14:29] and you're giving you some important attention
[00:14:33] because all of this work is just getting
[00:14:35] to know yourself better
[00:14:37] and helping yourself be more authentically you.
[00:14:39] So like for example, it's taken me a while to get here
[00:14:42] but I meditate every single morning
[00:14:46] and to the point where now it does not feel great if I don't.
[00:14:49] I mean, I truly don't feel right.
[00:14:51] I don't feel like me.
[00:14:53] I'm just like not in my groove in my day
[00:14:55] in my body if I don't
[00:14:57] because it's my way to connect to myself.
[00:15:00] I connect with spirit.
[00:15:01] I have a very deep spiritual practice.
[00:15:03] I might pull a card or light some sage or palo santo
[00:15:07] and I ask what I need to know today,
[00:15:10] need to know for myself today
[00:15:11] and then I go into meditation.
[00:15:13] Is it a long practice every morning?
[00:15:15] No, sometimes it's just 10 minutes.
[00:15:17] Sometimes it's 30 minutes.
[00:15:18] Sometimes it's an hour.
[00:15:19] Like it depends on what I need
[00:15:20] but I've built that up to where it feels better when I do
[00:15:24] and it feels bad when I don't
[00:15:25] and that's what you're looking for more.
[00:15:27] But it's taken some time
[00:15:28] and I am someone that likes consistency
[00:15:30] but also my energy likes to move more
[00:15:33] like likes to flow and try out different things
[00:15:37] and so you have to figure out what works for you.
[00:15:40] So try on a few things and take it slow.
[00:15:43] Start with one, one practice
[00:15:46] that you're going to do every single day
[00:15:48] and habit stack it.
[00:15:49] Maybe you need to tune more into your emotions.
[00:15:51] When are you gonna do that?
[00:15:52] How are you going to do that?
[00:15:54] Are you gonna do journal speak?
[00:15:55] Are you going to do a meditation?
[00:15:58] What are you gonna do?
[00:15:59] So first and foremost,
[00:16:02] stop being hard on yourself
[00:16:03] and stop accepting yourself to be somewhere
[00:16:05] that you're not.
[00:16:06] Your journey and the timeline of your journey
[00:16:09] is exactly where it needs to be
[00:16:11] and then look at habit stacking,
[00:16:13] look at what you have been learning
[00:16:16] and how are you gonna apply that?
[00:16:17] Maybe it's listening to a podcast or a module
[00:16:19] when you're in the car
[00:16:20] or when you're making lunch
[00:16:22] or I don't know whatever fits into your schedule, right?
[00:16:25] And then I will say lastly
[00:16:27] that it does require intention.
[00:16:32] You do have to have motivation in a way
[00:16:36] to get you to a place to make this a priority
[00:16:39] and then if you find yourself always procrastinating
[00:16:43] and you just cannot get to this work
[00:16:45] and you're feeling really lack of motivation
[00:16:47] and consistency at all, like literally at all,
[00:16:50] there's some resistance there.
[00:16:51] Look at the resistance,
[00:16:53] meaning why is your brain making you procrastinate?
[00:16:57] And usually it's because it doesn't wanna feel something.
[00:17:01] It doesn't wanna confront something.
[00:17:02] It's a little too scary to do so
[00:17:03] and it just wants to stay where it is,
[00:17:05] which by the way is very normal.
[00:17:07] Most people have some sort of resistance around this.
[00:17:09] Just depends on how much.
[00:17:11] So I could go into that.
[00:17:12] Probably have a whole episode around it.
[00:17:13] So if you wanna know more or you have follow up questions,
[00:17:16] submit another question, I'm happy to answer.
[00:17:19] Okay, next question.
[00:17:20] I've heard you talk about food sensitivities
[00:17:23] and how they can be a nervous system response,
[00:17:25] but I don't really understand
[00:17:27] and could my sensitivities, my food sensitivities
[00:17:30] be a nervous system response?
[00:17:31] Yeah, I love this question.
[00:17:33] So first and foremost, I'll say
[00:17:35] unless you have an allergy,
[00:17:38] like a true, true allergy, like a peanut allergy,
[00:17:40] a celiac, something that will obviously
[00:17:43] make you very, very sick.
[00:17:44] Like if you have that, this does not apply to you.
[00:17:46] I'm not saying that we can just stop all allergies.
[00:17:49] Now, we could go down that route another time,
[00:17:52] but for the purpose of this question, that does not apply.
[00:17:56] When it comes to sensitivities,
[00:17:58] things that have developed later in life,
[00:18:00] food sensitivities that have built up over time
[00:18:03] and you're finding yourself sensitive
[00:18:04] to more and more foods,
[00:18:05] maybe you've taken the sensitivities test,
[00:18:07] which I do not recommend,
[00:18:09] I highly recommend not taking food sensitivities tests.
[00:18:12] And actually there's a whole episode
[00:18:13] that I had one of my friends come on and talk about.
[00:18:16] She's a dietitian and works with IBS
[00:18:18] and she has a really great way of explaining why.
[00:18:20] There's not a lot of credibility behind it.
[00:18:22] It actually just creates more fear and anxiety.
[00:18:24] It's not really valid.
[00:18:25] It doesn't actually portray what your body is holding onto.
[00:18:30] It's just showing recent effects.
[00:18:33] I'll link that episode below.
[00:18:34] It's with Crystal.
[00:18:35] So first and foremost, yes.
[00:18:37] So the reason behind this is because
[00:18:39] when your nervous system is in a state of stress,
[00:18:42] it does not actually have the availability
[00:18:44] to digest in the way that it's supposed to.
[00:18:47] So when it's in the red zone, when it's in the sympathetic,
[00:18:51] it takes away energy from normal ways of operating
[00:18:54] because it thinks it's having to fight.
[00:18:56] It's being in survival mode.
[00:18:57] So your body goes, okay, well, what energy
[00:19:00] can we take away from other functioning
[00:19:01] to help you just survive?
[00:19:03] And it's like, okay, well, digestion
[00:19:04] doesn't matter that much in a way.
[00:19:06] You're getting food in,
[00:19:07] but we don't need to digest everything.
[00:19:08] So we're gonna take away energy from actually digesting.
[00:19:12] And that has been shown time and time again with studies.
[00:19:15] Also, there's a lot of rhetoric
[00:19:17] and a lot of societal standards around food.
[00:19:20] What you should eat, what you shouldn't eat,
[00:19:22] the different types of diets.
[00:19:23] If you look over the past 30, 40, 50 years,
[00:19:25] one year, it's this diet,
[00:19:27] and the next year, it's this diet.
[00:19:28] This food is gonna hurt you.
[00:19:29] That food's gonna hurt you.
[00:19:30] No, this food's okay.
[00:19:31] No, that food's okay.
[00:19:32] Like, oh my gosh, our brains are so confused.
[00:19:35] What's healthy, what's not, right?
[00:19:37] And then you've probably been told as well
[00:19:39] by practitioners who mean well.
[00:19:42] I'm not, I don't really wanna like hate on everyone.
[00:19:45] I'm really not doing that.
[00:19:46] They're doing the best that they can.
[00:19:48] It's just that like, you've probably been told
[00:19:50] you should eat this way to help your symptoms,
[00:19:52] which then just creates more fear if you do eat it,
[00:19:56] right?
[00:19:56] There's a lot of fear happening when we digest food.
[00:19:59] And it's shown when there's fear associated
[00:20:01] with eating food, our bodies do not digest it well
[00:20:04] because we're basically saying like,
[00:20:05] oh, I'm afraid of this.
[00:20:06] So your body's like, okay, cool, we're gonna reject it.
[00:20:09] We're gonna reject it to protect you.
[00:20:11] Yeah?
[00:20:12] So whether that's coming from a,
[00:20:13] I'm afraid it's gonna impact a symptom.
[00:20:15] I'm afraid it's gonna make me fat.
[00:20:16] I'm afraid it's going to make me gain weight.
[00:20:18] I'm afraid it's going to make me not perform well.
[00:20:20] Like there's so much meaning behind food.
[00:20:23] And so whenever someone asked me,
[00:20:25] could this food sensitivity be,
[00:20:27] or that food sensitivity,
[00:20:28] I say yes 100% all foods sensitivities.
[00:20:31] And it's shown also time and time again,
[00:20:34] I am going to take a breath.
[00:20:37] I get passionate about this subject,
[00:20:39] but it's just such an important subject.
[00:20:41] So when you can recognize that food sensitivities
[00:20:47] really don't need to be there,
[00:20:49] there's a lot of power in it.
[00:20:50] There's a lot of freedom.
[00:20:51] I myself have, you can listen back to some of my stories,
[00:20:54] but I mean, there was at one point,
[00:20:56] I was down to like five to 10 foods for about a year.
[00:20:59] And I healed them all within a couple of weeks
[00:21:01] using this work.
[00:21:02] To this day, I have zero foods sensitivities.
[00:21:05] I can eat anything that I want.
[00:21:06] And that's not just me.
[00:21:08] I mean, there's so many clients I've worked with
[00:21:10] and so many stories about that too.
[00:21:12] So you can work with it.
[00:21:14] You can totally shift and change and heal that.
[00:21:17] That's gonna be our last question today,
[00:21:18] but that also brings me to,
[00:21:20] if you've been thinking about
[00:21:22] working individually, working one-on-one,
[00:21:25] really getting deeper support in this work,
[00:21:27] I've answered these questions today,
[00:21:29] but the way that I would work with you
[00:21:30] is go so much more in-depth
[00:21:32] and really highlight and heal the deeper wounds
[00:21:35] that are causing all of this,
[00:21:37] along with helping you brain train
[00:21:38] and regulate your nervous system.
[00:21:40] And I'm taking on some more clients in 2025,
[00:21:42] and I would very much so love to support you.
[00:21:45] It's a passion of mine to be in those
[00:21:47] like deeper or more intimate containers
[00:21:49] and personalize all of this work to you.
[00:21:52] So if that is something that you're interested in,
